Sohag Journal of Nursing Sciences aims to:
- Publishing original scientific research and articles in various nursing sciences to serve the health sector.
- Providing a pool of electronic research publishing specialized in various nursing sciences.
- Participate in developing the nursing services provided by publishing the results and recommendations of peer-reviewed research in nursing sciences.
- Spreading culture and communication among researchers at the regional and international levels through published research.

- Research extracted from masters and doctoral theses for postgraduate students.
- The journal publishes its own issues on a semi-annual basis (January - July) of each year
- The journal can publish a supplement or a special issue for scientific conferences.

اهداف المجلة
- تهدف مجلة سوهاج لعلوم التمريض الى:
- نشر البحوث والمقالات العلمية الاصيله فى علوم التمريض المختلفة بما يخدم القطاع الصحي.
- توفير وعاء من النشر البحثي الإلكتروني متخصص فى علوم التمريض المختلفة.
- المشاركة فى تطوير الخدمات التمريضية المقدمة من خلال نشر نتائج وتوصيات الابحاث المحكمة فى علوم التمريض.
- نشر الثقافة والتواصل بين الباحثين على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي من خلال الابحاث المنشورة.
موضوعات المجلة
- تختص المجلة بنشر الابحاث العلمية فى علوم التمريض المختلفة
- البحوث المستخلصة من رسائل الماجستير والدكتوراه لطلاب الدراسات العليا.
- تنشر المجلة إصدارات خاصه بها بصفه دورية نصف سنوية فى (يناير – يوليو ) من كل عام
- يمكن للمجلة ان تنشر ملحق لها او عدد خاص بالمؤتمرات العلمية.
- تنشر المجلة المقالات المرجعية Review article
