Design: A descriptive study design was utilized. Setting: Obstetrical Department located within Hospitals in the city of Ismailia. Subjects: comprised 50 nurses. Tools: An open-ended structured questionnaire served as the data collection instrument. Develop the questionnaire by drawing on observations from the literature presented. Results: factors impacting nursing practice include the lack of available equipment (82%), heavy workload (80%), hospital policies that do not support nursing tasks (68%), and salary issues related to minimum wage (50%).
