Relationship between Entrepreneurial Leadership and Staff Nurses Team climate

Abstract

Background: Staff nurses must be aware of the importance of entrepreneurial leadership that influence on their team climate. Aim: To assess the effect of entrepreneurial leadership on team climate among staff nurses. Design: A descriptive, correlational design. Setting: The study was conducted at Main Sohag University Hospital. Subjects: 150 staff nurses who work in the aforementioned context make up the handy sample. Tools: Two tools were used: Tool I: Entrepreneurial leadership questionnaire, Tool II: Team climate questionnaire. Results: About more than one third of nurse staff have high level of team climate at Sohag University Hospital and nearly half of nurse leaders have high level of entrepreneurial leadership. Conclusion: There were highly statistically significant positive correlation between entrepreneurial leadership and team climate as reported by staff nurses. Recommendations: Implement a management strategy that addresses importance of adopting entrepreneurial leadership behaviors. Creating encouragement environment for the staff nurses to promote their performance.
